CONTESTANT FUNDRAISING PROJECTS
This year the Miss Miss Coon Rapids Scholarship Pageant is requiring the contestants competing for the title of Miss Coon Rapids 2011 to participate in several fundraising events. In addition to the silent auction baskets, we will be bagging groceries at Cub with a date yet to be determined - this has been hugely successful for us in the past.
BID-A-BASKET!
Please join us in raising scholarship funds for the Miss Coon Rapids Scholarship Pageant. Each contestant is asked to make a basket that will be auctioned off for a silent auction during the Miss Coon Rapids Scholarship Pageant on Saturday, February 5th, 2011.
Baskets must be turned in at the first rehearsal.
Please fill out the form which includes:
· A brief description of your basket
· The estimated or approximate value of your basket
· Contestant Name
All monies raised from this BID-A-BASKET event will go towards scholarships available to all contestants for the Miss Coon Rapids Scholarship Pageant.

These baskets do NOT need to be expensive - but they need to be creative. Each basket should reflect who the contestant is as an individual. Here are a few examples of the type of baskets we think you as a contestant can make:
Movie Night Basket
(popcorn, movie, candy, etc)
Tea Party Basket
(different flavors of tea, cup & saucer, etc.)
Coffee Basket
(different gourmet coffees, creamers, mugs, etc)
Bake Shop Basket
(cookie mix, cookie cutters, etc.)
Favorite Team or College Basket
(special items from your favorite sports team and/or college team)
Kids Baskets
(colored pencils, markers, coloring books, children's books)
